CIDB MALAYSIA MAKES IT EASIER WITH CIMS
KUALA LUMPUR: Aiming to provide
faster, efficient and transparent service to its stakeholders, CIDB Malayia is
transforming its online registration system by introducing the Centralised
Information Management System (CIMS) from 4 July 2017.
CIMS integrates all processes and
transactions to facilitate sharing of data and decision making, where all
customer services are rendered online.
Under CIMS, stakeholders can submit
their applications, make payments and have access to information related to
CIDB and construction.
With the idea of making dealings simple
and efficient, CIMS allows easy access to CIDB's online services and
transactions through a single online channel.
Under CIMS, application and approval
processes are conducted online whereby customers need no longer go to CIDB
counters to send physical supporting documents or to collect their certificates
or cards.
Certificates will be generated by CIMS
as e-document format and sent to customers through email. It will also notify
customers through email and SMS upon application approval and when their
certificates or licenses are due for renewal.
CIMS also allows for a shorter approval
process, and application approval process will be done completely online to
enhance transparency.
The system will be integrated with
relevant agencies in order to verify accuracy of data and documents submitted
online during application. This way, any false information submitted can be
detected.
For contractors, the services that can
be accessed through CIMS include registration, construction project
declaration, levy management and Score.
For construction personnel, they can
use CIMS for registration and accreditation.
CIMS can also be accessed for
information on trainings for contractor development, construction personnel
competency and management and supervisory competency development.
To access CIMS, users can visit
www.cidb.gov.my, and click on the 'eServices' tab. For assistance and
reference, contact CIDB Careline at 1-300- 88-CIDB (2432), or log in to
eBantuan (logo eBantuan) at ebantuan.cidb.gov.my.
